National Junior Honor Society
Recent ActivityOverland Trail's National Junior Honor Society is in its tenth year of service to the school and community. We currently have over forty members from the 7th and 8th grades. For their service projects, many of the students help present and former teachers with their everyday classroom needs, such as filing, organizing the classroom, passing back papers to students, or helping the students on assignments. Many of the NJHS members also help in their church serving actively during services, or with youth groups.
As well as being active NJHS members, many of our students also play sports, are in band, choir, or other out-of-school activites. Even with all of the activities that keep them involved, they still maintain their good grades. It goes to show how these students qualify and maintain their membership in the National Junior Honor Society.
